Please be aware that the current futures contracts will expire
shortly. Most of the liquidity will begin to move into the next
contract. The ticker symbols for the futures are changing as
detailed in the table below.
In general
the old contract "expires" on the third
Friday of the contract month. So, the existing "Z6" contract
expires on December 15th and the new "H7" will
begin trading. However, the futures "rollover" is the
Thursday the week before expiration, so volume should pick up
on the new "H7" contract
on Thursday, December 7th.
