Dear Valued Mastertrader.com Trader,
As you may be aware, US Daylight Savings Time (DST) takes to effect this weekend on Sunday, March 9, 2008. In preparation for US Daylight Savings Time (DST), Mastertrader.com has been undertaking reviews of its systems and requesting that our service providers do the same in order to address the DST change.
It is important that your computer and other personal systems used to trade show the correct day and time on Monday. Microsoft has provided guidance and patches to their software to address this change.
Microsoft Recommended Actions
You may wish to install appropriate Microsoft update patches for DST 2008 on your PC’s, laptops and other systems. For more information on Microsoft patches please see http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst.
Background
In August 2005, the United States Congress passed the Energy Policy Act which changes the start and end dates of Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin three weeks earlier (2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March) and will last an extra week (ending at 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in November).
If you have questions or need assistance please feel free to contact us.
Thank you,
