Dear Valued Mastertrader.com Trader,

As you may know, our clearing firm, Penson Financial Services, provides a variety of reports, documents, and general account information.  These can be viewed by going to www.mastertrader.com and clicking on “Client Services” in the left hand margin and then “My Account Info”.  Once logged in, a very useful report is the Buying Power page which can be found under Account Information.  This page will display your total account equity, the requirements for any positions and your buying power for the day.  Occasionally, some positions will have stricter requirements due to the fact that they are concentrated (greater than your account equity).  These positions will have a 40% requirement, rather than the usual 25%.  Beginning February 9th, your buying power report will contain an additional column, which displays the concentrated requirement for any positions in your account.

We strongly recommend that you use these reports on a regular basis, especially prior to trading each day.  It will give you a good picture of your account and the value of positions you may safely hold overnight.  It may also help you reduce or eliminate margin calls in your account.  For more detailed information on how to log in and use the Penson Connection, please click on this link: http://www.mastertrader.com/Notes/August2006/penson_client.asp or contact our support staff.

Thank you,

Dan Rokicki
