General overview of RealTick 8.0's powerful new
features.
Chart Studies
Add studies to charts, and customize
the display / look of a chart using the Display
and Analysis window. Modify fonts, colors; show
price tracking, and select from several general
properties.
Studies and Conditions in a Minder
Add studies and apply modified conditions
to studies and display these within RealTick's
MarketMinder window.
Custom Studies
Create your own custom studies
and add them to a chart, watch list, or use them
to trigger orders.
Arithmetic Studies & Other Features
Arithmetic Studies: Build custom
studies by using mathematical formulas such as Moving
Averages crossing above or below a time period.
Build studies within studies: add an RSI or MA study,
then wrap your own custom study parameters around
each study.
Trend Lines
Add trend lines to a chart; choose
the type of line, and identify the panel in which
you would like the line displayed. Then, save the
trend lines you've created. Use RealTick's trend
lines to identify correlations and reversals between
prices and other parameters.
Fibonacci Lines
Add and configure a Fibonacci trend line
to a chart, and modify its properties:
add new retracement levels, change colors, and choose
your labels.
Conditions
Create custom conditions and strategies
in a chart using the Display and Analysis
window. Render situations true or false using specific
mathematical expressions, create complex rules for
buy/sell triggers, evaluate relationships between
studies and prices, and much more.
Creating Conditions
Create and save your own custom conditions
using the selections within the Display and Analysis
window. Choose your right and left data elements,
offsets, operators, and more.
Add Conditions to a Chart
Add a condition or a strategy to a chart
using the Display and Analysis window. Choose the
color and line style to easily identify the met
condition on the chart.
Color Rules in a Minder
Add and configure color rules to
columns within RealTick's MarketMinder window. Modify
color rule properties such as true/false, offset
and color. Then adjust the time period for which
the rule should apply.
Color Rules in Charts
Create a color rule that can be added to a chart
or a watch list using the Analysis Manager. Name
your color rules, and apply the color rule to a
particular condition. Then, apply this to a chart
for a clear display of the trend when the condition
has been met.
Trading From Charts
Trading from Charts: Place trades
and view orders and positions directly from a RealTick
chart.
Custom Conditional Orders
Custom Conditional Orders: Place
trigger orders when custom conditions have been
activated. Simply associate the condition with the
order, then place the order.
Order Send Order
Order Send Order (OSO): Link two
orders together: 1) a trigger order, and 2) a dependent
order. The fill of the trigger order places the
dependent order. The dependent order amount can
vary based on your custom parameters.
Order Cancels Order
Order Cancels Order (OCO): Optimize
your trading strategy by simultaneously placing
a stop loss and a profit target order. RealTick
monitors the markets, mitigates the risk of an open
order, and frees you from having to watch the markets
move constantly.
Double Click Order Entry
Double-Click Order Entry: Activate
the option to double-click at the price tier in
a MarketMaker window to directly place an order.
Trail Stop Limit
Trail Stop Limit Order: Similar
to a trailing stop, use a trailing stop limit order
to trail the market of an instrument by your own
defined amount, until the market reverses. When
the market reaches the stop price, an order is placed
using the stop price, plus or minus the offset as
the limit price.
Slicer
Use RealTick's new Slicer window
to distribute large orders over certain time and
volume increments. Configure your orders to the
price limit and daily volume; choose a maximum order
size per sliced order, or, use the passive mode
with a reserve order. Specify time and force, and
the slices for your order will adjust accordingly.
Toolbars
Add your own custom toolbar to
any one of several windows in RealTick.
