How to set up a RealTick “Ladder” (Matrix)
- Step 1: Go to the Design menu on the RealTick Toolbar, choose Market Maker. In the setup window enter a Symbol and hit Ok. You will see the Window below.
- Step 2: Right Click in the level 2 of the MM Window and choose Setup (1st option).
- Step 3: Choose the Ladder selection under the “Price Tier / Montage Properties section of the setup window.
- Step 4: Now that your level 2 Ladder is setup right click and go to “Show Windows”. First uncheck the Range Bar and Standard Depth View. Then, choose the Histogram and Ticker selections, or hold down Shift+F9 for (Histogram), and F9 for (Ticker).
- Finally, right click in the Market Maker window and go to ‘Show Windows” now select Show Order Entry or press the F7 function key on your keyboard to bring up an order entry module.
